About Us

Say Hello To Hydrogen

Hydrogen Energy

Hydrogen, the alternative energy that is abundant, efficient and eco-friendly. Hydrogen is a clean alternative to fossil fuels and is used in a wide range of transportation and power generation applications.  Hydrogen technology   brings safe, reliable and cost-effective hydrogen to hydrogen powered applications around the world.

Residential Hydrogen Energy

• Hybrid hydrogen storage enables energy self-sufficient residential buildings.

 • Different technology supply and storage configurations are comparatively assessed.

• RSOC and LOHC show high potential in self-sufficient building energy systems.

• Heat integration between rSOC and LOHC systems reduces hydrogen storage needs.

 • Levelized cost of electricity for self-sufficient supply can reach 0.42 €/kWh by 2030.

CENTER FOR LIFE SUMMER INTERNS

This summer the Brother Kolbe Project joined the PSEG Institute of Sustainability Studies.  The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies supports transdisciplinary research and community projects that grow more resilient communities worldwide. From climate change research in New Jersey, to energy studies in Vietnam and modeling water availability in Africa, the work of Montclair State University’s faculty cover the world with results shared with local residents, state agencies and professionals.   In September, 2015, the UN adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals to aid the nations in our world to work toward a more sustainable existence. Montclair State University, under the leadership of the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies, joined the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network to build programs that will contribute to the global network of sustainability solutions.  The Team Replenish Program aggregates groups of five students who work with communities and corporations to provide solutions to sustainability problems. In 2018, 60 students from 18 different universities worked with twelve organizations to address their sustainability challenges. We were assigned a team of interns and through out the summer the interns learned about the Hydrogen House and how it works along with solar and fuel cells.  We look forward to the next group of students.   Donations or grants from your foundation would push Center for Life's  Educational effort farther and allow us to host and train more students.  Please consider helping us, Donate today!.
